June 09, 2026 (CHP BC) The Christian Heritage Party of British Columbia congratulates Kerry-Lynne Findlay on her election as leader of the BC Conservative Party.
We especially appreciate her willingness—during her leadership campaign—to speak clearly and courageously on issues that matter deeply to many British Columbians, including parental rights, the protection of children, and concerns surrounding SOGI and gender ideology in our schools.
The Christian Heritage Party has long stood unapologetically for the protection of children from SOGI and from gender confusion it has created in our public schools. We support strong families, parental authority, the sanctity of life and freedom of conscience and religion. We raised these issues for years when no other party would speak about them, so we are encouraged to see Ms. Findlay speaking up for principles that will strengthen families, uphold truth, and promote justice. Now that the leadership contest is over, we hope she will continue to express these convictions and champion these causes as she leads her party in the years ahead.
As Christians, we are called to pray for those in authority. We will be praying for Kerry-Lynne Findlay, her family, and her team, asking God to grant them wisdom, courage, and strength as they serve the people of British Columbia.
Congratulations, Kerry-Lynne! May your leadership encourage others across British Columbia to stand boldly for truth, protect children, strengthen families, and pursue justice with courage and integrity.
