CHP-BC President Dan Stuart – Passed Into Glory

Dan StuartCHP-BC has lost one of its steadfast pillars. On Sunday, November 13, 2022, after a short illness, our president, Dan Stuart, died at his home in Houston BC. Dan leaves behind his loving wife, Angelina, his son Travis and his daughter Rachel, his stepsons, Nathaniel and Joshua and extended family.

Daniel Walter Stuart was born on March 14, 1948. By the time he was old enough to vote, he was sold on small-c conservatism. It was later in life that his mother-in-law introduced him to the CHP. He joined the party in 2017, and served as president of CHP-BC for the past several years. In 2020, he ran as a provincial candidate in the electoral district of Nechako Lakes.

Dan was always ready to defend the pro-life cause, the protection of innocent human life, the restoration of traditional marriage and family, and the defense of personal freedom. He thought there was too much corruption in Victoria, and often called for a return to common sense and decency in politics.

Dan will be remembered for his enthusiasm and sense of humour. We
appreciate his cheerful willingness to serve on our board, and will miss him.
